I'm looking for hair growth and i recently picked up some vitamins at Target that are called Hair, skin, and nails by origin (for women). I've never heard of the brand before, but if they do the job i'll take them!
Does anyone have experience with the vitamins? Do they work? And if so, how long before you see results?Hair, skin, and nails vitamins- do they work?
YES YES YES, they work. Just taking a regular daily vitamin and eating a protein-rich diet will help as well, along with drinking lots of water.
But YES, those hair/skin/nail vitamins DO work, as do prenatals. In fact, I've taken prenatals myself to make my hair grow faster (although I'm lucky, my hair grows an average of 3/4'; a month, and most people is 1/2'; per month... and when I took the prenatals mine grew about 1 inch per month!)
Go for it! And good luck!
(ps... make sure you're getting regular trims, like once every 3 months or so to keep your hair growing out nice so it don't get split and frizzy and yucky... even if it's just 1/2'; off or so... it helps immensely in how quickly your hair will grow, too!)
Good luck!!! :)Hair, skin, and nails vitamins- do they work?
I haven't had experience with the Origin brand but I have used hair, skin and nail vitamins before and they definitely work. Give it a good two months when it comes to your hair but your nails should start seeing results within a couple weeks. I highly recommend using the vitamins consistently and for at least 6 months if not more. I've used them for about a year now and my hair is growing like crazy. Also, if your not seeing the best results using the hair, skin and nails vitamin, use prenatal vitamins, those give you double the amount of percentage needed daily, and work way faster! Either way, you should definitely see results, just give it time!
No, they aren't anything special.
Try this vitamin regime:

This is what it says about prenatals - One word about prenatal supplements. I personally do not think they will boost hair growth anymore than a good multivitamin. There are a lot of good over-the-counter prenatals out there. I like Natrol probably the best. When I sat down and actually compared the ingredients in prenatal vitamins and multivitamins, the multivitamin actually had more than the prenatals did. Prenatal vitamins do contain extra iron (for anemia), folic acid (for birth defects), and potassium (to help with muscle cramps). Now, none of those ingredients will boost hair growth. I have had 3 pregnancies and I have NEVER taken prenatal vitamins. When I presented my vitamin program to my OB-GYN, each one has stated that they could not have put together a better vitamin program for overall health during pregnancy and after. They have never prescribed a prenatal for me. There really was no need.
I follow about 80% of it.
Vitamins may help your overall well-being, but they cannot target specific areas of your body. The vitamins you ingest do not know they are supposed to go and give you shiny hair or clear skin.
More likely, these vitamins are mainly vitamin B. Vitamin B contains a nutrient that forms the basis of skin, nail, and hair cells. The vitamins will only help if your diet is deficient in this already.
I take Biotin. Which works on hair skin and nail health. I find it works rather great. These vitamins come in a capsule and the bottle has about 120 of them. You are supposed to take 1 a day. So if you do that, it will last you a long time. Also Alpha Lipoic Acid (I think that's what its called) Is an Antioxidant and helps with Skin.
I know this is going to sound weird. But I have a friend that had short thin hair. She was researching and found tail %26amp; main horse shampoo/conditioner. She used it for about a month and her hair is gotten very long and had gotten a little thicker. Please take my advice b/c you deserve good hair, well everyone does!
yes vitamin E works on all those things and you should see results in less than 3 months. it takes a while for hair and nails to strengthen but the skin you should see a difference in a few weeks
Yes they do! You will love them. You can even take prenatal vitamins, which are virtually the same thing--even if you arent pregnant.
Yes they work ok, but I recommend just taking some prenatal Vitamins.
dr. oz on oprah sais NOTHING will make ur hair grow faster, but yes stuff can make it sronger. prenatel vitamins are good for those kinda things.
knox plain gelatin may work, probably jello too. The time depends on how long it takes your hair/nails to grow
Just use raw eggs for hair.....e lotion for skin, and drink milk for nails..........you don't need anything else.
didnt you take high school health??

Are skin, hair & nail vitamins worth taking? ?
I'm not really into taking vitamins as I usually think a balanced diet should be enough. I do like other food supplements such as evening primrose oil and cranberry, but Boots had a 3 for 2 offer, so for free I picked up some Skin, hair and nails vitamins and minerals. I was wondering if you can really see a difference in the skin and hair by taking supplements like that? Are skin, hair %26amp; nail vitamins worth taking? ?
Absolutely not, they are functionless and a total waste of money. Unfortunately the vitamin/supplement industry takes millions of pounds each year out of the pockets of the gullible and often the worried well.
Eat a well balanced diet and you cannot improve on its effects! Are skin, hair %26amp; nail vitamins worth taking? ?
no there has been no real evidence that shows taking artifial ones work however if you get the same vitamins out of your food then this will help!! therefore eat a healthier diet with more fruit and veg
It depends how old you are. If you are approaching your forties and beyond then I think you will benefit from these. If yuo are younger say 20- 30's a good multivitamin would do

What to do if my cat dug her nails into my skin?
Early this morning my cat dug her nails into my arm and made a puncture wound which bled a little and now is red looking. I used antiseptic cream on it. Do I need to see a nurse? What about a tetnus or should I be ok?What to do if my cat dug her nails into my skin?
Just treat it like any other minor wound skin wound. Keep it clean with bathing and antiseptic creams, cover it if it bleeds. You don't need to see a nurse, doctor, or get a shot. What to do if my cat dug her nails into my skin?
If everything clears up pretty quickly you should be fine. If not, you may have cat-scratch disease, which is when a cat scratches or bites you, therefore passing bacteria to you that my have been in their mouth or on their feet.
If you have any of the following symptom/problems you should call a doctor ASAP:
* A cat scratch or bite that does not heal in the usual length of time.
* An area of redness around a cat scratch/bite that continues to get bigger for more than 2 days after the injury.
* Fever that lasts for several days after a cat scratch or bite.
* Painful and swollen lymph nodes for more than 2 or 3 weeks.
* Bone or joint pain, abdominal pain (without fever, vomiting or diarrhea) or an unusual degree of tiredness for more than 2 or 3 weeks.
Hope everything works out!
i would think if the cat is vaccinated, you may be ok applying antibacterial cream.if not ,unless you yourself have had a tetnus shot{i could be rong so check first }for the last 10 years ,I would say go to a doctor.I do hope you swatted that little brat.
Hi, I have 2 cats they play with me alot.
When they do they sometimes scratch or dig their nails in, what I do is i put the scare under water for a cople of mins then I put a plaster on. 1 day after take the plaster of and put some cream on it should heal soon!
wash it out good!
peroxide should work..(:

What is the best color nail polish for tan/medium skin color?
I think the best thing is a french manicure. But if you don't want to have a french manicure all summer here is what I do:
I paint my nails with french manicure polish. Then I take a thin acrylic overlay to protect it. Then if you choose to wear a different color that matches your outfit all you have to do is apply two coats over the french manicure to change the color.
Then if you want to go back to the french manicure all you have to do is use NON-ACETONE nail polish to take of the polish and then you will have your french manicure back.
This is so convenient because french manicure goes with anything and if you don't have time to polish your nails you can still have a great look for summer.
All of my nail clients love this! Give it a try!
Good luck to you! What is the best color nail polish for tan/medium skin color?
Medium skin tones can wear a pink, nude, or red like everyone else, BUT the pink should be opaque (almost white), the neutral should be a berry or brownish color such as raisin (I like Real Raisin by Maybeline), and the red should be dark or ruddy with high gloss and possibly some gold glitter! What is the best color nail polish for tan/medium skin color?
Redish Pink always works for me and I'm sort of tan. I guess it depends if you're putting it on your toes or your fingers. But a sparkly pink always looks cute too.
Corals,light pinks,peaches,light funky golds,french manicures-fit all,and metalics. Best,I think are corals and peaches.
beige, um... a light pink... light colors basically, no green or red, blue would be ok..
I have tan skin and the best polish I have gotten a lot of comments on it bright orange with gold flecks. This year I have been seeing more dark colors in nail polish.
I will use a light color on my nails and go darker on my toes. Colors do not have to match. I have a blue based red that looks great, Other colors include dark purple, blood red (a deep dark red) and extremly light pastels. Stay away from greens, tho. They make my skin look like a corpse's.
Hope this helps!
And don't be afraid to experiment. Some beauty stores carry little ';try'; bottles of polish. They are cheaper and you can see what colors look good on your particular skin color.
I think the best colour would be a sparkly beige!
A warm peach or coral is good. Or a warm, orange based red.
Something Pastel is awesome for tan skin.
Metallic is okay.
Glitter...eh...not so much.
i think the best color would be a light pink
i choose berry, fusfia hot pink or strawberry
according to seventeem mag it is rich rust, pale copper, deep bronze, and shimmery gold.makeup 2009

Nail and skin biteing/peeling... health risks? Please read more.?
My sister bites her nails, then once she bites them to the point that they bleed she starts biting the skin on her fingertips and peels the skin away... this totally grosses me out but I am concerned that this may be a health risk for her. Is there anything other than it hurting that could be a concern? Any suggestions as how to get her to stop?! Thank you for your help! :)Nail and skin biteing/peeling... health risks? Please read more.?
If she swallows the nails and or skin, then she can have some health problems. You can't digest nails, so they will remain in your stomach and have to be surgically removed if excessive. There is also a correlation between nail biting and gall stones. But if she doesn't swallow her nails, then the only health risk I am aware of is the consumption of germs.Nail and skin biteing/peeling... health risks? Please read more.?
Fingers may have some sort of bacteria risk .. but hey i bite my nails to go to far they bleed LOL other then geting sick from what shes touched (id say real rare) i coiuldnt see other effect but im not a doctor.

Does Red nail polish suit pale skin tones?
which red suits light skin tones best?Does Red nail polish suit pale skin tones?
i have pretty pale skin, and i wear bright red polish almost all the time. i get compliments on it, too. this is the of year for reds, for sure. check out OPI for great shades like Vodka%26amp;Caviar (matte red) or No Autographs Please (shimmer red). i find that bright reds look better on me than deep reds like crimsons or burgandies.Does Red nail polish suit pale skin tones?
Red is very vibrant on pale skin, I think it looks good on light skin tone, that's my opinion. I think pale skin can pull off many bright colours!!! I have a nail polish called 730 Valentine by Revlon and it's amazing. (Dark Red).
I think a pink would be better for paler skin tones. Red just seems too.. BAM!
Definitely. I have fairly pale skin and each time I wear my red nail polish, I get compliments specifically about how well the color looks against my pale hands.
if your going for a really retro classic look that stands out then this is perfect.
but if you want to be more subtle, then a pale pink would be better/
:)
In my opinion, red will really make your pale skin colour look really washed out. It's good only ocassionally like if you wanna glam up with your girlfriends and such. But honestly red will really make your hands look ghostly. If you really want a red colour try a really like pinkish-red, this colour is light making it complimenting your skintone. A dark nail polish will look to harsh on your skin. But a light one will look natural and flirty.
yes, but go for the darker reds, not the orangish reds.
Go for it, it looks amazing on pale skin tones! Right now is the best season for reds. You can pull off any shade of red.
I wouldn't wear it, but depending on what else you are wearing you could make it work. I would go with a super cute pink color to be on the safe side though!
well unless its matching with a stunning gown, no. stick to the pretty pink colors
yea i think it makes hands look sexier

Do hair, skin and nail tablets work?

They work. They won't perform miracles or anything but they def do help, I have been taking them for a while and my hair grows just a little bit faster and my nails are strong.Do hair, skin and nail tablets work?
I am guessing that they probably do work, and are safe to take as long as they are only a blend of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. Just take the recommended dosage, and ask your parents first! And also, they do not work major miracles, but do improve the quality of your hair, skin, and nails! Good luck!

Are they the same as regular vitamins?Anyone benefit from hair, skin and nail vitamins? ?
Maybe be the same, I used to take biotin pills but soon ran out, because I was taking 4-5 pills of 1000mcg in a 100 pill bottle. It worked well, increased the growth a little and decided to buy a better brand, that had 5000mcg in a single pill ( Very good buy from Wal-Mart) so now im taking them again regularly and I'm not sure if it will work but might as well try... Btw I ran out like 3 months ago and started taking it again about a week ago.... be sure to do a chart :Dmakeup 2009

Take fish oil Omega 3. http://fishoilomega.com/wp-content/uploa鈥?/a> I take 2-3 a day.
Skin Care: Fish oil helps in improving the condition of poor and dry skin by making it shinny and glowing. It is useful in treating various skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis, itching, redness of skin, skin lesions, and rashes. In case of psoriasis, the EPA present in fish oil restricts the growth of pro-inflammatory agents by producing arachidonic acid. Fish oil can also be applied topically to obtain relief from psoriasis. Regular intake of fish oil capsules helps in reducing loss of moisture from the skin. It is also claimed by some people that fish oil helps in preventing sunburns.
Acne: Fish oil is effective for acne as well. EPA is known to inhibit androgen formation. Androgen can affect the formation of sebum in hair follicle.
Hair Care: Fish oil helps maintain a good luster of the hair. Omega three has hair growing properties as it provides nourishment to the follicles. It therefore aids in faster development of hair and preventing hair loss. A good supply of proteins is also necessary for hair growth. Since most fish varieties are rich in protein, eating fish helps in keeping healthy hair.
Cancer: Fish oil is useful in delaying weight loss in patients suffering from pancreatic cancer. Fish oil supplements can also be helpful to patients suffering from cancer related hyperlipidemia.
It also has TONS of other health benifits that I can't even begin to list.Hair skin and nail vitamins?
Just go to GNC or any pharmacy and get prenatal vitamins. Even if you aren't pregnant, the prenatal vitamins have all of the essential vitamins and minerals to support hair and nail growth.
so try this...regular trims are a must, about every 7-9 weeks.(if your hair is really healthy then up the trims to about every 12 weeks, a trim is just a snip off the ends) if its been awhile since you have had a trim then inches may be called for to get to healthy hair. i use vitamin e on fresh washed hair.(its a vitamin that can be purchased where you buy vitamins, cut open capsule, squeeze into hand, rub hands together and apply to hair) dont message into scalp. if you get too much then just rewash it. hair will feel slightly sticky until dry then it will be nice and soft. it tames the frizzies, deep conditions and makes hair grow about three in a month. it takes about a month for the growth part of the e to kick in. the other benefits are instant. dont brush your hair but maybe once a week to message the scalp, i use a wide tooth comb at other times. brushing breaks off hair. i just started biotin vitamins going on four months ago this sat and notice and big growth spurt from that. biotin is cheap and also promotes hair regrowth and growth. i also have the biotin shampoo that i got from a vitamin store online.(puritans pride.com or vitadigest.com) five bucks for a big bottle and a big bottle of E is about 8 bucks. the biotin is about 3 bucks. i now take my fingers and message my scalp about five times a week, along with the brushing thats a good way to do it without damaging your hair. apply two or three capsules of e to dry hair and message into scalp and hair really well, put damp towel in microwave for 1 min to get hot, then quickly wrap head, a dry towel can be placed over that to help hold in the heat, leave on for 15 min, shampoo well, makes an excellent hot oil treatment. good luck, AND some people will argue about regular trims, your hair does grow from the roots, yes, but if your hair is not trimmed at the bottom, the it splits, get dry and brittle not to mention thin looking from no trims at all and frizzy. then your hair starts to break off at the bottom and giving you the appearance that it never grows. so to make hair grow as fast as possible and keep it healthy, then trims are an essential part of hair care. look on a ruler and check out less then half an inch and if your salon does not know what that is then take a ruler with you, i have. as of three weeks ago adding beta carotene vitamins to my regimen. i found out that along with the biotin it is very very good in promoting hair growth. they were five bucks for a bottle of 100. got them at walmart. the biotin and e can also be purchased at walmart, and adding all this up is pretty cheap to get great hair. i just wish the shampoo was available in the stores, but not yet.

How can I get Shiny Hair,Healthy nails, glowing skin and healthy hair?
My hair is damaged at the sides and i dont know how to fix it
My hair is growing though and at school [10th grade] i have to swim everyday for p.e until next friday which is the last day and ofcourse my hair got ruined for the month of swimming and not having time to dry
and by healthy nail i mean by getting them a little long and nice lookingHow can I get Shiny Hair,Healthy nails, glowing skin and healthy hair?
If you are willing to wait until new hair and nails grow from the roots, then if you make sure you get all your vitamins including the vitamins for healthy hair and nails, then it will help the new hair and nails grow in healthy and shiny and strong.
Meanwhile, if you have the kind of hair which is easily damaged, find shampoos which strip the chlorine and other chemicals from your hair, and use a good conditioner. That might help while the new hair is growing in, and to keep the new hair from getting damaged. You can ask at a salon, if you like.
To help your nails keep from breaking or bending while the new ones are growing in, you can use ';Hard as Nails'; which is a nail polish made to help keep your nails from getting soft or breaking. I don't think there are colors, but you can use the clear polish as a base coat if you want.. or just have clear polish.
I started using vitamins from the GNC health stores. They have special ones for women, for hair, for nails etc. They are expensive as **** but for the first time I have nails that don't bend or get brittle and break. And I'm kind of old. I imagine they would help a young person a lot more.
Good luck. How can I get Shiny Hair,Healthy nails, glowing skin and healthy hair?
shiny hair can come naturally if you use the right products/shampoo.
blowdrying it helps, and u can try using hair products especially for making it shiny. To make your hair healthy, wash it everyday and get a trim. Im not too sure about nails, but if you dont bite them or pick at them and just try not to pay a lot of attention to them, within 2 weeks you should see a difference.
Calcium.
do you straighten or curl your hair? (w/ heat)
if you do, you should try buying heat protection before you burn in..like a substancee.
%26amp; the purple V05 haha, i forgot what the name is, but the bottle is purple %26amp; i think it has a purle flower on it. that helps damaged hair if you use it daily.
HOPE IT HEPLS!
You are not clear on what damaged is. After swimming it is a must that you at least rinse your hair thoroughly to remove the chlorine. Wet hair is fine. Nails are usually based on your genetic make-up.
Drink water every day, eat your fruits and veggies, dont smoke and take either a GNC Dietary supplement or a biotin pill (available in most drug stores).
Use lime juice for nails and shiny hair.

Well take a multi vitamin help me with my hair growth and better skin and nails?
I am taking one a day women active body and mind!Well take a multi vitamin help me with my hair growth and better skin and nails?
A simple multivitamin is only going to help with your skin and hair a little. You should look into Nutrilite Complex for Hair, Skin %26amp; Nails. Go to http://Arcameda.com and search in the search box for skin nails for more info. This complex provides a wider range of recognized support for the nails and skin areas than the multi. Go to my profile to email me if you need further help.

My 5yr old female doberman keeps knawing at her nails and skin till she bleeds.?
she has numerous abrasions we have cleaned them and have been advised to use a cream too but she just wont leave them heal.It started with her nails now most part of her legs and her upper back legs. Any one know why or what makes her do this please.thankyou.My 5yr old female doberman keeps knawing at her nails and skin till she bleeds.?
I believe it could be allergies, but when you talk about the back legs also, it could just be boredom. Dobes are very high energy and intelligent dogs. Have you ever heard of flank sucking? This is when they bite or suck on their flanks and can become a very serious habit. I would try some behavior modifications when you catch her in the act, such as giving her a new toy and playing with her, taking her for a walk or some type of excersize such as playing ball, and also try useing some over the counter products such as bitter apple or bitter lime on the area or around the area if it is severley inflamed. Talk to your vet. If it is allergies, you can learn to give allergy shot right at home. Also, allergys can be a seasonal thing depending where you live. Good luck and also try to help any unwanted behavior, also.Have hadMy 5yr old female doberman keeps knawing at her nails and skin till she bleeds.?
It is caused by a combination of dry skin (yes dogs can have it) and fleas or small lice. You can go to your local vet and have them give you a specific lotion for her dry skin. My dog had this same problem about 1-2 years ago and her skin is just now starting to heal properly and grow hair back. It is definitely better to take care of this problem as soon as possible. I hope she gets better soon.
It can be allergies or they can be ';lick granuloma.'; Have you been to see the vet? I had a Doberman, and for him it was allergies. When we lived in NJ, he chewed his paws obsessively. We had to keep him on benadryl 4 times a day. When we moved to AZ, he stopped!
Talk with your vet, but it could be not enough exercise combined with something else. Most Dobermans need 2-4 hours of exercise per day, in my own experience.
Good luck!
I'm assuming that you have ruled out fleas or some other skin abnormality. If that is the case, unfortunately it sounds like allergies. My Golden-Border mix has allergies also. Typical signs are biting and licking feet and creating 'hot spots' by biting, licking and itching the same areas until they bleed. There are several schools of thought on treating allergies and I do not pretend to be even close to an expert on them. I have had past success with a Sulfa-based shampoo (although I can't find it in the stores any more), and am currently using an antifungal mixed with an oatmeal based conditioning shampoo. Of course you could test her for what she specifically reacts to and put her on shots to desensitize her like they do people, but it is quite costly. The naturalists suggest as natural and well balanced a diet as possible to feed her immune system so her own body can fight the allergen. My vet has recommended benedril for the worst of the season and or more powerful steroids if necessary. I have nixed the use of steroids because the side effects can be so devastating. These are some possible suggestions, but if your Dobby is suffering from allergies, there is no cure that I have ever heard of. It's a battle every season. Sorry!!!!
I might add that for getting the abrasions healed, I have had some success with the following:
(I have to shave the spot, you probably won't have to.) I clean it with alcohol on a cotton ball and then apply 3 way anitbacterial ointment. If you don't have an elizabethian collar, you should probably invest in one. I try to keep the area moistened with either bacterial or micaderm ointment (usually both) while it heals to keep the itch factor in check. I use the fungicides due to the fact that the area stays so damp for such extended periods of time from all the saliva.
allergy......take her to the vet to have her tested...

My brother has a habit of cutting the skin and nails from around his fingers and eating it. What is wrong?
He does this almost everyday?
How can i stop him.My brother has a habit of cutting the skin and nails from around his fingers and eating it. What is wrong?
um.....try putting tape over his fingers or maybe soak his fingers in vinegar so when he tries to eat it, it will taste weird and maybe he'll stop?
hope this helpsMy brother has a habit of cutting the skin and nails from around his fingers and eating it. What is wrong?
How old is he? It could be a number of things. It sounds like a nervous/anxiety disorder, maybe? I'm not a professional by any means, but maybe you should take him to a doctor and find out what is going on. I used to be a regular nail biter, it was hard to stop but I did.
There is a clear nail polish out on the market where when he puts his finger in his mouth they taste bidder. My mom got some when my little sister got into the habit of chewing on her nails.
Sorry i don't know the name of the product, or where she got it. try googling it

A dog bit my index finger and a part of the nail and some skin was shed off for two months already?
and I still feel some kind of swelling and I can't use my finger properly still because I feel pain when I touch the part of my finger although the nail has fully recovered. I was wondering if my finger would still recover back to its original state since I still feel a sensation but a very painful one.
I can't go to the doctor so a probable y!answer might suffice.A dog bit my index finger and a part of the nail and some skin was shed off for two months already?
Soak your hand in betadyne- a squirt and some warm water in a small bowl. Soak for 5 minutes. Do this 2-3 times a day.Sqeeze a soft ball as often as is comfortable. Pain is good- then you know it is still alive. Keep the hand clean and wear protective gloves when handling food. Where's the dog. was it reported?A dog bit my index finger and a part of the nail and some skin was shed off for two months already?
get to the doctor coz you might not sure of the dog is free from rabies!!! you should be frightened if thats the case... you may die
Well just be sure it isn't infected in any way before just leaving it alone. The sensation you still have is a good sign that you will recover back to normal. It is quite normal to have little to no sensation after a trauma such as a bad dog bite. Im a little concerned the swelling and pain after two months may be a sign of infection. You may want to see a Dr. either way. I wouldn't advise you to just leave it alone. Good luck.
you probably need antibiotics, are you sure the dog did not have rabies? I'd make sure on that one if I were you, rabies is fatal. For the finger itself, soak it daily in warm water and epsom salts, apply antibiotic ointment (bacitracin or neosporin) and cover with a bandage, do this for at least three days.

Can i take hair, skin and nails supplements along with multivitamins?
Because the hair, skin and nail pills seem the have the same vitamins as the multivitamin but has more of other stuff. Can i take hair, skin and nails supplements along with multivitamins?
In general you can, but I wouldn't. The reason I say that is because there are likely a few B Vitamins in the hair, skin, and nails formulation and the B Vitamins are water soluble so you could safely take them at the same time... but if you take more than your body can use, you wouldn't get the full benefit from them.
If you take the complex a couple hours after your multi, you should get the most from both of them. There shouldn't be too much of any of the nutrients that can build up like Vitamins A, D, E, or K as well as the minerals, so you should be perfectly safe. If there is some of those in both, feel free to e-mail me with the amounts and I'll do my best to take a closer look. Good luck and I hope I helped! Can i take hair, skin and nails supplements along with multivitamins?
Everything oldtime said is true.....HOWEVER......if you take a liquid vitamin with plant sourced minerals, you wont have the problem of build up. The reason there is a build up with the typical ';one a day'; (no matter how cheap or expensive) is that the minerals are synthesized. They are created in a lab. They do NOT have the same health benefits as plant sourced. Because plant source minerals are from Mother Nature herself! Here鈥檚 how it works: plants assimilate minerals from the soil they are embedded in and in the process an amazing conversion that science has not been able to duplicate takes place preparing some of them for human consumption. Nature really intended for humans to get minerals from plant foods 鈥?lots of minerals. As a matter of fact, minerals can be found in nearly all foods that are grown in soil. Carrots, grapes, broccoli鈥ou name it. The problem in this day and age is that food processing, chemical fertilizers and overused crop lands make it impossible to get a wide spectrum of minerals from our diets. We just aren鈥檛 getting what nature intended. Nothing is more beneficial than a full range of plant source minerals sourced from deposits that are thousands of years old 鈥?it鈥檚 like harnessing the power of nature.
If ya want more info, I gave you a link to a really informative site for a killer liquid vitamin that uses plant source minerals. Its called vemma. Ive been taking it for about 6 months and have been very very happy with it.

Can the skin under the nail tan?
I had old chipping nail polish on and i was out in the sun and when i eventually took off the nail polish, it looks like it tanned the skin under my nails, or pinkish, and where the nail polish was, its white. Can the skin under the nail tan?
no it cant tan.
The nail protects it from the sun most of the time...of course that's not the nails purpose...Can the skin under the nail tan?
UV rays turn nails yellow so no the skin under it doesn't tan.
Yes it can because nails are clear so UV rays can pass through them! =)
No, they don't tan. Its probably just staining from the polish.

What's that vitamin that's supposed to be really good for your hair, skin, and nails?
I thought it was vitamin E for a while, but I figured out that's not it. I can't remember what it is. Thanks! :DWhat's that vitamin that's supposed to be really good for your hair, skin, and nails?
Biotin. Do not double up the dosage. Follow the recommended dosage and drink water with silica. Fiji-Water for example. Silica that is naturally found in the water is extremely good for hair, nails and skin.
Avoid a much as possible refined sugars.. they cause candidas build up in the body, which impairs the the skins main function of detoxification.
So in short:
1. Biotin
2. Water that has Silica (i.e Fiji water)
3. Avoid refined sugar
:-)What's that vitamin that's supposed to be really good for your hair, skin, and nails?
I don't know if this is a ';vitamin'; but I just remeber someone telling me that fish oil is good for your hair and skin and I think nails. I take it every morning. you can get it as a swalloble pill or liquid. hope i helped :)
Vits B and H (biotin) and calcium are essential. Vit E is, also. Don't throw it away. ;-)
E is good topically.
Whatever is in pomegranate juice is good to drink for about a week before a date...I'm told it helps your skin
vitamin b
i take that vitamin the only thing thats gross about it is that it like sticks to your tongue a little bit so make sure you take it with like grapefruit juice or orange juice
Biotin.

Dark nail polish on pale skin?
Do you think it looks cool or trampy?Dark nail polish on pale skin?
I think dark polish looks good on lighter skin cos it stands out. Put a base coat on first so it won';t stain your nails. Guess that depends on who you are as to whether or not it looks trampy. I got a dark purple polish last month, and I liked it on me. Had to put three coats on to even it out and get the color right. I like all colors of polish except the orangey ones. I've always liked wearing what's ';IN'; in polish. It's cheap enough - even if you get Revlon or L'Oreal. Just wish my nails would grow and stop breaking off. :)Dark nail polish on pale skin?
Very cool. Probably cooler than on dark skin.
i am uber pale and i use dark polish all the time ... just stick to a blue base when you pick a color
Trampy? No way! haha i have light skin %26amp; i love the way dark nail polish looks on my nails :) So i'd say cool!

Best foods to eat for skin and nails?
I just recently ended a very long very unhealthy relationship with acrylic nails (damn them!) and needless to say, my real nails have suffered great damage. What foods, fruits, veggies etc, are good for restoring nail health, promoting nail/hair growth, and making nails/hair stronger?Best foods to eat for skin and nails?
ok.. you can take supplement that is specially formulated for that purpose.. (walmart, or any drugstore).. but a good fix is taking Knotts gelatine (the one without flavor) everyday: just dissolve 1 packet of Knott's gelatine in water or juice and in 2 weeks you will notice the difference.Best foods to eat for skin and nails?

How do you stop a person from biting on thier nails and skin?
(i know it sounds weird but plz help me out) PLZ!!How do you stop a person from biting on thier nails and skin?
Put the hottest hot sauce you can find on their nails. Dumb *** sauce should work pretty well.
http://www.asskickin.com/product61.html
Be careful to only get it only the top of the nails so they don't get it in their eyes by rubbing.
Good luck
Remember milk, high fat ice cream, etc will take the sting away. How do you stop a person from biting on thier nails and skin?
I have been in the medical field for a very long time. I am required to attend seminars on all kinds of things. One of these things is hygene. You will need to do the research yourself, but all I will say is that if you knew what was under the finger nail and around the cuticle this person will never again bite their finger nails.
It is worse than that toe nail fungus commercial.
good luck
I wish I knew I have tried everything If I put the gross stuff on my nails I just wash it off and chew chew... it's sssoo gross!
anyhow if you do find something that works let me know
thanks
Wear gloves
They should cover their body and nails with some kind of stinky lotion such as all of those body and hand lotions with a list of chemicals longer than john holms' thingamaling. The taste of these hand and body lotions will sicken the normal being.
I bit my nails for years and then I just decided to stop for no reason other than my nails looked really gross. there's a product called ';No Bite'; that they sell in the salon nail care section in pharmacies. you paint it on your nails and cuticles and it tastes really nasty, so when you try to bite, it makes you stop. give it a try.
I need answer to this one too.

gloves all work
Fall in love with someone who hates it. You'll stop at once.

What can I do to get my hair, skin and nails healthier?
I was wondering how I can get my hair, skin and nails healthier? What products are good for fry skin. What is good for dry, damaged hair. What I can put on my nails to get them stronger and to grow faster. What can I do to get my hair, skin and nails healthier?
For dry skin, use a good moisturiser. The thicker formulas tend to be more moisturising but feel heavier on your skin. Take a look at Cetaphil, Sorbolene, Olay. If your skin is REALLY dry I've heard Palmer's Cocoa Butter is good.
For damaged hair, avoid heat appliances as that is a major cause of dry hair. If you need to use them, use a heat protectant (eg Tresemme Heat Tamer) and if you're getting split ends consider something like Bedhead Ego Boost leave in conditioner/split end mender http://www.tigihaircare.com/consumer/en-鈥?/a> . Use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner, a cheap drugstore one I love is Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. Invest in a leave in conditioner or a hair treatment.
For nails Sally Hansen is good, they have a range called Hard As Nails as well as other nail strengthening polishes. http://www.sallyhansen.com/category.cfm?鈥?/a>
You can also take vitamins like Blackmores Nails Hair and Skin. http://www.blackmores.com.au/products/De鈥?/a>What can I do to get my hair, skin and nails healthier?
just hear this on the doctos show; For nails: washyour hands, apply drops of fresh lemon juice (you may sqeeze lemon on the nails, then a bit of massage and then drops of love Oil. cover your hand with a clean plastic wrap and keep it warm wrapping in a clean twoel or even inside a warm sac for an hour. you may repeat this every few days or once a week i guess, For Skin and hair as well as nails: take vitamins, fresh jiuce contians lots of minerals and vitamins. if i am not mistakene they advised carrot and coriander juice?
I was going to say the same thing what anna said.
Take vitamins!
Being healthy equals beauty.
Also drink a lot of water and get active.
A good moisturizer, a good conditioner, and special nail polish. DUH.
Use google next time.

Being healthy equals beauty.
Also drink a lot of water and get active.

Anyone Use ';Hair,Skin & Nail'; pills??
Any success?Anyone Use ';Hair,Skin %26amp; Nail'; pills??
I use them all the time. Yes, they're good for you, just like vitamins. They are considered supplements to provide your body what it lacks. They work but you gotta be diligent in taking them daily as directed. They can help the texture and growth of your hair as well as the condition of your skin and nails. Changing your diet to healthier foods such as fruits and vegetables along with all of the rest of the food groups can also contribute to the improvement of healthy hair, skin and nails. Check with your family physician when starting any type of diet or physical exercise program.Anyone Use ';Hair,Skin %26amp; Nail'; pills??
I'm using them right now. The brand I purchased doesn't taste very good, but my nails grow so quickly when I take them! And my hair does grow a bit more, but mostly I notice the difference in my nails.
eat alot of jello
yes, i have been taking them for about 7 months now, and have noticed a real difference in the growth of my hair.
i can honestly say it grows like a weed now.
my nails also seem to be stronger and not break as much.
i haven't noticed a difference in my skin though.
it's the biotin that makes the difference, my dermatologist even recommended extra biotin for the hair, even before i started taking them.
waste of money

love natural hair. Some times I want a straight look. I am using bodiphier.www.freshlookhair is the website. It鈥檚 a natural relaxer that鈥檚 made out on vitamins, minerals, water, and etc.. I love it because it doesn鈥檛 burn, and no chemicals is added. It鈥檚 self neutralize. I can scratch my hair the same day and not worry about burns. It鈥檚 super soft. It doesn鈥檛 break the bonds in your hair. It causes your hair to straighten by 85% which allows you to keep your natural hair texture. You can wear your natural hair because bodiphier loosens the bonds in your hair instead of breaking them like traditional perms and relaxers. Say goodbye to split ends because my hair is healthy. If I want to wear a straight look, just blow dry and press your hair. It鈥檚 very silky when you go for the straight look. It will not frizz up in humidity. I am taking hair vitamins, natural relaxers, and natural products like jojoba oil. I plan to try products like carols daughter for my hair www.carolsdaughter.com
I'm using Exoctic allure from www.exoticallure.com My hair is growing an inch per month. My skin as flawless and my nails are long. My hair is very conditioned, strong, thick, and shiny.Fast Grow is an essential Black hair care tool for the following reasons:
鈥?Faster hair growth
鈥?Healthy Hair
鈥?Stronger hair
鈥?Improved hair manageability
鈥?It can help heal damaged hair breakage
鈥?It can increase the black hair growth rate
鈥?It can help hair resist the damage from hair relaxers
鈥?In reality, the only way to get healthy, damage resistant hair is through proper nutrition and that's exactly what Fast Grow provides.
It is made of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and botanical oils. It does not contain any man made drugs.Fast Grow provides a potent formulation of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that the body needs to grow strong, healthy hair, skin and nails.
It also contains biotin. I notice my face clearing up after 2 weeks. I love this product. I plan to have waist length hair by the end on the year.
No. Less is more. If you can avoid things in pill form, you are better off. Good nutrition is essential. If your hands are in water alot then then may soften. Try a good nail strengthener that you brush on...there are many good ones...such as tough as nails. Nail health and hair health often reflects one's physical health. Eat healthier.
the only time i had to use those was when they were prenatal pills, and yes they were successful. lots of women use prenatal pills for that same reason, even if they are not pregnant, but some women get sick (nausea, headaches, etc. kind of like pregnancy.)makeup 2009

What does Prenatal vitamins do for your hair, nails and skin? (Only those with experience answer, please)?
While I was pregnant I took Prenate Elite. I cut my hair up to my ears at the beginning of my pregnancy and by the end it was down past my shoulders. My nails grew faster and thicker. You know how people always say that pregnant women break out, I didnt. My best friend had thin slow growing hair, she got pregnant. She started taking prenatal vitamins and now her hair is thicker and is growing like crazy. She has to get a trim every month to keep it out of her eyes. I also stopped taking them about two months ago and my hair and nails are still growing really well. Hope this helps. What does Prenatal vitamins do for your hair, nails and skin? (Only those with experience answer, please)?
From what I have read, scientists seem to think the hair and nail growth is promoted by the hormones released during pregnancy, and not by prenatal vitamins. I may be wrong, but that is what I have read.

What is good to take for hair/skin/nails and how long will it take to work?
I'm not sure about the skin, but the hair and nails are almost pure PROTEIN. I'm fairly certain that the skin is very high in protein also.
I was told by Mom and Grandmas all their lives that eating a lot of Gelatin products [Jello is but one brand name] provides replacement protein for the hair and nails and makes them both tougher and more flexible, thus making them less susceptible to splitting and breakage.
This is logical since Gelatin is also almost pure protein.
I have worked with my hands [much physical labor] all my life, and when I've noticed nail splitting/breakage issues, increasing my Gelatin [I use Jello] intake usually has improved my nail condition within two to three weeks
I haven't had a problem with my hair or skin so I can't speak to that issue. What is good to take for hair/skin/nails and how long will it take to work?
go to your doctor (gynecologist if you are at that age) and ask fro ';pre-natal vitamins';. They are prescribed to women who are pregnant, but anyone can take them, and they make your nails and hair strong, and both grow fantastically. I strongly recommend this. Very inexpensive, and healthy.
Good luck! What is good to take for hair/skin/nails and how long will it take to work?
This is excellent and will take about a week to start working.
My nails grew really fast and my hair grew fast and looked shinier when I took them.

Stock up when they have a sale on cos it's only 拢2.99 in the sale.
You only need to take 1 a day so 60 tabs will last a month.

The skin behind my nail where my cuticle is hurts and is a little red...why? Can I stop it?
Sounds like you've probably split the cuticle or it's gotten chapped. This is ususal during colder weather and it's very easy to fix by using a thick hand lotion several times a day or by purchasing cuticle oil and putting that on daily. It'll sooth the redness and irritation sos that it can heal up.
If you've recently had a manicure done at a shop, clean any nicks and cuts with peroxide (burns like heck) and put an antibiotic cream on the cut to reduce the risk of any infections. Unfortunately, the risk of disease from some nail salons have made the news and one must be very careful when having manicures done with less than sanitary equipment.
You should find that the cuticle and skin starts to feel better in a day or two.

No, but my daughter's hair won't grow, and I have been wanting my nails to grow, so I read to eat more protien. We are trying adding more protien to see if that helps.Has anyone used One Choice Hair, Skin, and Nail Vitamins? If so was it helpful?

if it is bleeding, clean up the blood and put on some ice. if its not, put on some ice and a band aid so that it wont get infected.
Hey! That sounds somewhat painful. I've done the same thing too... Make sure that you clean it out well, and wrap it with non stick pads and gauze, and use LOTS of Neosporin! Ice will make it feel some what better.
Good luck and I hope it heals fast!

Does sharpie come off yoru skin with nail polish remover?
Yikes, nail polish remover is super harsh on your skin. Try using face wash and/or astringent. That's always worked for me.
Hope this helps!Does sharpie come off yoru skin with nail polish remover?
I've tried before and it didn't fully come off but I didn't hold it there very long because I couldn't stand the smell! lol! It also made my skin very dry and irritating so I wouldn't recommend trying it!Does sharpie come off yoru skin with nail polish remover?
Yeah I agree with yay! it'll hurt our skin. Scrubbing at it with a wash cloth and soap should help get it off. It won't be off right away but it'll get it off quicker than just leaving it. :)
DONT USE NAIL POLIS REMOVER ON YOUR SKIN!
It'll dry it out or irritate it. It should come off in three days.
juse keep watching it, it comes off in a few days.. i write on myself with sharpie all the time.

I take the Hair, Skin %26amp; Nail's Women's Formula
It has the most biotin in it and the saleslady told me it was best for hair
I've been taking them for a year now and they really do make a difference! How long it takes varies from person to person but i had a short bob last year and my hair has grown almost shoulder length, but again it depends on the person
to speed up growth you should also have a healthy diet and drink plenty of water

I also have quite pale skin and am teenager. I have tried lots of nail varnish's and i would advise to stay away from black, yellow or green. However, i think pink, blue, red, purple and navy are really nice.I especially like a metallic silver, I think it looks really good!

Revlon makes a nude color that suits every skin tone, and would look really pretty on you, and is great for everydaywear and teens. Also, you could use a medium pink/coral color, which would look really nice too. (=
if your skin has a 'warmer' tone, go with the browns, bronzes and golds. if your skin has a more neutral tone, go with the neutral-flesh tones, if your skin has a cooler tone wear pinks and reds and brights.makeup 2009

What is the best thing to take for healthy hair skin and nails?
I take a daily multivitamin already and am looking to add a little extra for my hair, skin, and nails.
I have heard folic acid tablets are good for that, or omega 3 fish oil tablets. I know they also sell packages that are specifically formulated for healthy skin, nails, and hair but of course they are more expensive and i dont even know if they are safe to take daily WITh my multivitamin.
Which ones are better? What is the best thing to take for healthy hair skin and nails?
prenatal vitamins. they help with your hair, skin, and nails. you can get them at any vitamin store. the pills that are formulated for healthy skin, nails, and hair and they are safe to take daily with your multivitamin. What is the best thing to take for healthy hair skin and nails?
i'd stick to eating foods that contain these things. You're right, omega 3 is good and so is folic acid. I'd continue multivitamins but not buy those other things. You may just overdose on it. Some things that contain omega 3 are flaxeed (you can buy seeds and grind them with yogurts or cereal or sprinkle it in a smoothie) or eat fish.
There is actually a multivitamin called ';Hair, skin, and nails'; If you can find this take Vitamin E, Biotin, Vitamin B (all of them), and folic acid. Also try to eat a lot more vegetables.
I tried the ones for hair and nails and is bs..does not work.Thes best you can do is eat healthy and add beans and good healthy fats like avacados and lean protien.
Yes, prenatal vitamins or knox gelatin...they used to sell it in packets for hair %26amp; nail growth but I'm not sure if they still do, you could buy it at the grocery store. Fish oil works on dogs so I would assume it would work on humans.
I would go for the hair and nail vits, yes they are safe to take with multi vits i take them myself.
But try washing your hair with egg and drinking plenty of milk or having enough other varieties of calcium.
eat lots of fruits and veggies, use aveeno lotion, dove shampoo, and a nail hardener

What essential vitamin's are really good for your hair, skin and nails?
I am 23 and I already take a daily multivitamin. I try my best to take care of my skin, hair etc. I was just wondering if there was anything else I could do to keep it looking good...What essential vitamin's are really good for your hair, skin and nails?
biotin (a B-vitamin) and i think maybe iron too. For skin, Vitamin A and E. And C. They are all antioxidants that help eliminate free radicals in the body = reduces aging.
Eat vegetables (spinach lots of vitamin A) and any vegetable or fruit that has a deeo yellow color (so deep it looks orange) such as mangos, carrots, and canteloupe, and whatever else.
Apricots are also good, and nectarines. Pretty much everything thats healthy is good for your body/skin/etc....What essential vitamin's are really good for your hair, skin and nails?
Omega 3 is a good overall supplement (but preferably you get this through diet instead). Also, by not getting enough zinc you can end up with dry hair and white spots on the nails. Even adding a good olive oil to your diet will help. Keep a humidifier on in your bedroom to keep some moisture in the air once winter heating kicks in. Sun is the worst enemy of skin, so always wear a good UVA and UVB block, even in winter!
try pernatal vitamins u dont have to be pregnant to take them so dont worry...these give u radiant skin and healthy hair and nails
I asked a similar question. I am taking biotin for my hair!
Vit B, E and C are very good, internally and externally. Omega 3 is also a good.
I would say drinking or getting calcium (from dairy products) for the nails and for best skin results get some amount of chitin or kerotin from fish, you can buy fish oil pills that have Omega 3 and other beneficial nutrients
biotin (a B-vitamin) and i think maybe iron too.

How can I improve the condition of my hair, skin and nails naturally?
I know you can buy vitamin supplements to boost your diet but what can be done regarding diet and lifestyle that does the same without popping pills. How can I improve the condition of my hair, skin and nails naturally?
^Eat healthy, whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats, nuts, seeds, legumes etc. The closer to nature and less processed the food the better. Stay away from, or at least limit, junk food, fast food and trans fat. Drink water, not soda. Fresh air and exercise can help also. Taking a good multivitamin can help too, but you don't need to spend a lot of money on vitamin supplements for your hair.
The best thing you can do for your skin is don't smoke, drink in excess,or use drugs they all take a toll on your skin and use sunscreen, no matter how light or dark you are you need sun screen and don't bake in the sun. Good luck, I hope this helped. How can I improve the condition of my hair, skin and nails naturally?
Use Vitamin E cream or lotion on your skin.
I was told that the gelatin thats found in jello can help improve your hair and nails, not sure about the skin and i don't know why it helps
You would be surprised how much cutting out sugary drinks and sodas and replacing them with water will help. When I kicked my diet coke habit years ago and replaced it with water my skin became so health and acne free.
Take Biotin vitamins.

Hair skin & nail supplements?
i bought some at wal*mart today, i was hoping they would help my hair grow quicker. i read the bottle and now i'm not even sure what they really do. haha has anyone taken them?

They are probably just a basic multivitamin and mineral supplement, but will cost you more money because they are marketing them specifically for hair and nails.Hair skin %26amp; nail supplements?
Are they pills? I'm not so sure about those, I'd ask a doctor.

How fast does the hair, skin, and nails multivitamin work for your hair?
Since no one bothered to answer my other question, I wanted to put another one, I have these vitamins and Mane N' Tail I was wondering if they'll actually make my hair grow faster and how fast? How fast does the hair, skin, and nails multivitamin work for your hair?
It won't significantly make your hair grow faster. Trim your hair and take the vitamins if you want. The vitamins will make your hair look nicer. Trimming your hair makes your hair look nicer and should make it grow faster since the dead ends are removed. How fast does the hair, skin, and nails multivitamin work for your hair?
I've tried using vitamins for my hair and it seems like to me that they don't work. Some people swear by vitamins but I don't think I ever got the results I was looking for. Maybe I wasn't consistent enough.
no. they wont make your hair grow faster or longer. Hair length and speed of growth is predetermined by your genetics. A pill will not make your hair grow past your boobs if your DNA tells it to stop at your shoulders.
i got biotin and it's been like a day and my nails have grown quite a bit...but for ';noticably longer hair.'; i reckon about a month..

That is not completely accurate. Any kind of deep puncture wound can develop tetanus. It does not matter if the nail ,or other object, is rusty or clean.

i'm lacking know how in make up and i'm going to prom but i need to know what kinda of make up to getWhat make up to wear with bronze skin, black dress and red nail polish?
dramatic smoky eye, blush, and nude or light colored lipsWhat make up to wear with bronze skin, black dress and red nail polish?
wear a lipstick to match your shoes, and a true match foundation, that will blend in with the tone of your skin...
have fun :)
I agree with the second person. You might also want to use a brozner powder for a cover up.
Big smokey eyes '; deep browns and golds a little bit of purple if you have brown eyes'; black eye liner on top curl your eyelashes and put black mascara
natural face maybe a little bronze for blush and glossy- nude lips !!! HAVE FUN I'M SURE YOU WILL LOOK BREATHTAKING!!!!!!!!!!!
Toofaced sun bunny bronzer is beautiful yet subtle
wear black eyeliner mascara and a eye shadow that is close to your skintone.
i would get a dark eye shadow that is shimmery. i always do my makeup by puting a natural color from my eye brow down to my eye lid. on my eye lid i would do the dark shimmery collor.. and do a light red lipstick.. not like bright but it would be a nice accent.
frosted blue eyeshadow. =)
Prom- how exciting!
Ok, well I don't know too much about how you look, but here are a few foolproof makeup ideas to help you get started:
1. Good news is that you seemed to have chosen classics regarding your dress and nails. You can never go wrong with black or red.
2. The possibilities are endless with a bronzey skin! Firstly, find a foundation (or tinted moisturizer if your skin is more or less perfect) that matches your skintone. Stila, L'Oreal True Match, and Neutrogena are a few good ones to try. Smashbox bronzing primer gives some shimmer and glow to the skin so check that out too (sold at Ulta, Sephora). If you need coverup, try Neutrogena or Physician's formula concealers.
3. Try NARS Luster and Orgasm (Sephora) to really bring out your tan- plus, as it is your special night, you want to look your best! These high quality blushes will do just that.
4. Eyes- I would recommend enhancing your natural skin tone and eyes instead of trying some crazy color- and with a classic color like gold (I think you may have a warm skin tone, if you look good in golds) it's hard to go wrong. Try Lorac's gold eyeshadow all over eyelid, with MAC All that Glitters (a champagne bronze color) blended towards the outer corners of the eye. If you want a more darker smokey eye look, pair Lorac's Inspiration (dark copperized goldish color) in the outer corners and crease. You can really up the drama by trying on falsies (Ardell makes great ones) and a liquid eyeliner on your top lid, or keep it subtle by just using a regular black/navy blue eyeliner. You can lightly apply a white eyeliner on your bottom lid to really open up your eyes and give you a beautiful doe-eyed look. Groomed brows (apply a little clear mascara by Maybelline to keep them in place) complete the look.
5. Lips- MAC Nymphette or NARS Turkish Delight would look absolutely divine on you. Or you could play up the red in your nails and try out a red lippie- Too Faced, MAC, and NARS all make good ones, but you want to try it out and see which red suits you more.
6. Attitude- it's all in the attitude. If you feel confident and happy, your date will really dig that and you'll both have a great time with your friends. So don't feel nervous or worried; nothing is more sexy than a lady with some confidence.
7. Spritz on a fun flirty scent (Pink Sugar) or a more subdued feminine scent (anything with warm vanilla), and you're ready to waltz out!
Keep in mind, you don't have to go and shell out $$$ for the makeup- these are just well known colors that can help you create a look; you can just as easily find colors close to the real ones at Rite-Aid or Walmart.
Have a fab. time and hope that helps :)

I have a beige skin tone and I'm looking for summer colors!
thanks!Best nail polish for my skin tone?
Go for some nice corals and light reds. Pinks will also work is you like to wear a lot of darker toned outfits.
But, I am currently wearing YELLOW even though that might sounds a little weird to some people. I do, however, get a lot of compliments on my nails since the yellow is really gorgeous.
If you want a really good quality nail polish, I suggest Chanel (I have all their nail polishes and makeup and the yellow color is great!)

So, I broke a nail really bad. I'm not going to cut it off, can I put new-skin on it to keep it from catching
I got a real bad cut about 1cm down my right index finger at work last night. It penetrated through the nail, and split the nail. Rather than cutting the nail at the cut, I went the band-aid route to cover it. But, Can I put new skin on to make a layer to keep it from catching?
Any ideas?
ThanksSo, I broke a nail really bad. I'm not going to cut it off, can I put new-skin on it to keep it from catching
new skin or super glue works. after words you can get some stregthening nail polish but make sure that you get the kind with the fibers in it. I use Orly nail armor, you can find it at sally beauty supply. So, I broke a nail really bad. I'm not going to cut it off, can I put new-skin on it to keep it from catching
If your cut went through the nail to the nail bed, do not apply super glue or nail polish to it! Your wound needs to heal.
Wash it well. Pat the area dry, gently, then pour some peroxide over it. Once it stops fizzing, pat it dry again. Nu Skin may be the way to go, once it's clean.
However, I'm wondering if you saw a doctor? If it went all the way through the nail, the nail bed may be damaged, and you may need stitches to prevent a future nail deformity. Based on your description, it's a good idea to call your doctor's office and talk to a doctor, nurse, or medical assistant (not just a receptionist or office manager), at the least.
Either way, trim your nails short, about to the end of your finger. If they're long, you have to worry about more than just snagging: the long nails bumping into things can keep pulling at the injured area and prevent proper healing. Be very careful doing it, and trim a tiny bit at a time from each side of the nail, so you don't cause extra pain! If you're going to the doctor, just wait and let them trim it.makeup 2009

A nail fungus can be very difficult to get rid of. There are over the counter remedies but they can take a year or so of treatment before it goes away. Being that she is only two, I would take her to a doctor and get a diagnosis and a remedy for this. If left untreated, nail fungus can cause other problems.
Good luck.

Please don't take chances with your baby's skin or health and try things people suggest on here.
It's really quite easy to get rid of it....but it depends on how healthy she eats. Nail and skin fungus disappear from you if you eat healthy and get enough sleep...my dad is a doctor and he taught me this, so, just make sure she is eating things that are not fattening, and don't have any partially hydrogenated oils in them. Partially hydrogenated oils have caused people various kinds of cancer, and one of those people was my mother, so if she just keeps her body healthy, she is sure to have the fungus disappear completely. Use some PONDS dry skin cream for the cracked skin (it can be found at Walgreens) and make sure you don't put any special polishes on her nails...because they are very potent and are only to be used for fungus ON the nails...not IN the nails..
Good Luck!!!
All these suggestions sound nice and helpful but what about just plain old bleach! one tablespoon in a sink of warm water have her rinse and soak for a few minutes, 4-5 or more times a day. Rinse with clear water and dry them with a cool blow dryer.
The doctors will give you creams that will work but this works just as well and the smell will keep her little fingers out of her mouth.
When I was on a gardening site which talked about using corn flour to control fungus in the garden some people mentioned how they got rid of nail fungus by soaking in water which had corn flour in it. It takes several weeks to effect a cure though. You can trim the nail back and apply tea tree oil with a cue tip as well. I get the tea Tree oil at target in their vitamin section. They had the best price I've seen, about four dollars. Its a powerful anti fungal and anti bacterial but very safe. I put it on my tooth brush as an antiseptic to prevent cavities and on my bathroom grout if I see mold growing there. Its great stuff.
Please do not use the stuff people on here tell you, they mean well but you are taking a big risk with your childs health if you do,
take her to Drug Store with you, if they tell you see A Dr. you really need to find a way, maybe family will help,
Good Luck.
