Eat foods that are nutritional. How can i get beautiful nails? The skin around my nails is always gross and my nails always chip?
vitamin e
But too much vitamin E makes nails soft, it's great for the surrounding skin. When you file nails, make sure it's in one direction, no nail polish either. Also, people who tap their fingers tend to have strong nails, as tapping stimulates blood flow. Make sure you are properly hydrated. No biting or picking. Keep cuticles pushed back. Check out the links for manicure tips.
Runnnnn, to the nail salon quick. There is not a problem they cant correct!
there are tons of lotions and creams out there..one use to be called hoof maker i know it sounds weired but it works wonders..also vitamin E i think it is..cuticle lotions Burts Bee's has a great one..bath and body and Victoria secrets plus some grocery stores and such often carry it..there also use to be something called a silk wrap..i don't know if it is still around or not..but that makes your nails nice and hard..also change your diet..more water, more vitamins...it takes time and a lot of work to keep your nails nice, and not everyone has that kind of time and devotion..but once they get nice, it's super easy to keep them that way.
Go to the nail salon...get a manicure....they'll fix you up...get your cuticales cut, trim and polish and while your there get a pedicure...very relaxing. I just had one yesterday it was nice to pamper myself, you do the same and you'll thank me later.
get a manicure
Ew, lol, just kidding. Go and get a professional mani and pedi and after that, start removing old polish w. remover, washing, soaking, brushing, cuticle push backing, filing, buffing, brushing, (all in this order), and then applying NUTRANAIL nail hardener for strength, ( it really works, about $4 a bottle), and then applying your favorite nail color on top. Don't bite, keep doing weekly or bi weekly mani's and pedi's and VOILA! you will have beautiful nails! Good luck!
Calcium citrate 600 mg instead of milk. Drink Almond or Rice milk (not soy) if you need something of that consistancy. Take a multi vitamin from a health store or vitaminshoppe.com, not a pharmacy (don't provide enough nutrients).
Have whole grains (high quality, low inflammatory, high fiber) like buckwheat, amaranth, oat bran, quinoa, some brown rice instead of any flour or refined product. Get them from bulk in natural store.
Don't do sugar. Get stevia in drops or powder instead.
I know it sounds silly, but take prenatal vitamins. Before I got pregnant, my nails were the same way. Prenatal vitamins keep your nails healthy and strong. You can buy over the counter prenatal vitamins at places like Wal--Mart or Walgreens.
