Speaking as a guy, I always thought nail polish should compliment the skin tones and highlight the eyes, if possible. If you have brown eyes, go with the red undertones, green eyes, a little less red, more of the fall colors, like gold, yellow or orange, blue eyes, then the pinks, peaches, etc. Black hair with bluish highlights and pale skin is red for contrastPoll: what color of nail polish matches best with olive skin color?
Olive color skin has yellow-green undertones. To compliment that, go to the opposite side of the color spectrum and choose something with red undertones. Reds, berries, fuchsia for example.
lights pinks and corals look really good. or fall darker colors are in so i would try navy blue. SO CUTE AND SO IN! :)
